01 concept

Featured on the timeless, craft Moleskine notebooks, this collaboration put forward the idea of the ‘wandering mind’ to a New York City university student demographic. Staying true to Moleskine’s connections with adventure, personal identity, and love of nomadic objects, I chose to create an interactive notebook designed to catalyze inspiration in the next, big creatives of NYC.

02 functionality  

Making sure to focus on all design aspects of packaging I treated the bellyband, an often overlooked opportunity, as a crucial and interactive design element pushing the user experience outside of the boundaries of the product itself.

03 Experience

The use of clean design through line weight and soft colors was important to ensure the overall look and feel of the Moleskine remained effortlessly memorable. I focused closely on an elevated design intended to empower the newest force of creatives while not overwhelming them with cluttered visuals. Everyone can find inspiration in the beautiful simplicity of an airplane and paper cranes.
